Does your business face recruitment challenges or do you need to upskill members of your team?  Are you considering succession planning or could your business use help to navigate the complicated skills and recruitment offer available to business?

You are invited to come along to our Skills & Business Support Showcase to find out about skills availability and provision in the County Durham area.  The event will be held at the Durham Cricket Ground, The Riverside, Chester le Street on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 9am to 12pm.  Business can visit the exhibition stands of skills providers in the area, hear speakers talk and network.

Drop in or stay for the duration and hear what our speakers have to say.

Speakers include:

  • Angela Carney , Managing Director of Carney Consultancy who will be discussing diversity;
  • Carole Williamson and Stuart Cannon of the DurhamEnable project will talk about Neurodiversity and disability in the workplace
  • Madeleine Liddell of the North East Ambition Programme will discuss Skills Support for SMEs and the enterprise advisor initiative, working with schools to inspire and raise aspiration.
  • Reshma Begum, Development Manager of the Federation of Small Businesses, will chair a panel discussion to take some of your questions.
