Peterlee entrepreneur wins business award from BBC Dragon Theo Paphitis

A Peterlee entrepreneur has won Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday award.

Kieran Chapman, owner of Bumble Print and InfaCloud, picked up his award at the end of February.

Both brands are owned and operated by Kieran and he was delighted to win not one but two business accolades. Small Business Sunday, also known as SBS, welcomed winners to the award ceremony, which took place at the ICC Birmingham and Kieran was lucky enough to meet Theo himself.

Both Bumble Print and InfaCloud have been in operation for almost a decade, with both businesses set up during Theo’s tenure on the popular BBC entrepreneur programme, Dragons‘ Den which he featured on from 2005 to 2013. Theo remains a familiar face in the Den, having stepped in for other Dragons Tuker Suleyman and Peter Jones.

The SBS event included guest speakers, such as fellow Dragon Touker Suleyman, who shared his business story and took questions from a highly engaged audience. During the event it was revealed that only 0.8% of businesses are selected as winners. For Kieran to win twice with Bumble Print and InfaCloud is an outstanding acheivement and one that he is very happy to do from his County Durham base in Peterlee.

Bumble Print is an award-winning, UK based printing company that specialises in business cards, roller banners, booklets and flyers. They offer a postage service which brings their products to business owners throughout the UK. Sister Brand InfaCloud guarantees to give business owners a professional website that is going to look great, load fast and rank well on Google. With InfaCloud’s affordable pricing model, you can have all the benefits of a premium web design service without having to break the bank.

Small Business Sunday is one of the leading small business communities in the UK, created by Theo Paphitis in October 2010. SBS encourages small businesses and entrepreneurs to promote their own small business on this day of the week. The awards ceremony includes brands from all over the UK and celebrates those who work hard by adapting and thriving in their chosen industry.

Kieran Chapman, Founder of Bumble Print and InfaCloud said, “Winning the SBS Award is such an important moment for both the Bumble Print and InfaCloud brand. Running two businesses may seem challenging but, with determination, I thrive on delivering for our clients. For me, hearing Touker Suleyman say that, ‘It is not a setback, it is an opportunity‘, very much fits with my own apporach to business. I will always be grateful to Theo Paphitis for taking the time to give back to business and not only run #SBS but to create and event that brings us all together. It was truly an honour to meet him.”
