Over 50 people attend East Durham Business Network event at Seaham Hall

Dozens of business representatives attended this week’s East Durham Business Network event at Seaham Hall Hotel.

The event saw the official unveiling of Issue 11 of East Durham Business magazine and our new co-chairmen Ranj Gill and Gursh Kahlon from Clearwater Developments.

Guy Bashford from Business Durham introduced the event while Leanne Fawcett from LEC gave an update on plans for the magazine and network activity. They then handed over to Ranj and Gursh who gave a short presentation on their business and aspirations as the group’s new chairmen.

Attendees included Sotech, the Bardley Lowery Foundation, CustomerKNECT, The Employability Trust, Be Smart Engineering, UMi, Teesside University and Durham County Council.

Ranj Gill said: “As local businessmen, we want to do everything we can to help the continued development of the East Durham area, and are looking forward to working with our fellow network members to identify opportunities which can further enhance this wonderful coastal location.“
