Over 50 people attended yesterday’s East Durham Business Network event at East Durham College in Peterlee.
Representatives from businesses and organisations including Clear Climate, SMS, Digital Drive County Durham, County Durham Community Foundation, Orca, Harbro Electrical, Nala Engineers, Think Eleven, CoreHaus and many more came along for the network’s first gathering of 2022 – and only the second in person event since before the coronavirus pandemic.
The event was hosted by Guy Bashford from Business Durham, Paul Wellstead from Spectrum Business Park and Leanne Fawcett from LEC.
Managing Director of Business Durham, Sarah Slaven, also gave an update about County Durham’s City of Culture bid as well as the area’s overall recovery from Covid-19.
Chairman of East Durham Business Network, Paul Wellstead, said: “It was fantastic to see so many people – some familiar and some new faces – in attendance and even better to hear how many of them are preparing for a positive 2022.”
Keep an eye out for Issue 7 of East Durham Business magazine which will include a double-page image gallery from the event.
